I watched a lot of cartoons and movies. I draw incessantly and carry a sketchbook everywhere. I work in animation and self-publish my books. There are monsters in the streets, don't wear red. Mad bulls and monsters hate that color. I still watch cartoons.

Paper Biscuit 1.5 SOLD OUT

Actually, it's been sold out almost as soon as we put up the ad (below Aug 04). The response has been and continues to be wondrous. We've been asked for copies of Fragments and the Paper Biscuit books from several bookstores we adore: Meltdown Comics and Collectibles!(hello, Felicity and Gaston. Such good names) and Pendragon books on College Avenue (hello, Chris and Lindsey Bear. Pegasus Books as well) Dog Earred Books in the Mission and Kinukuniya bookstore in Japan town among others (actually, Forbidden Planet has an order for a bunch of copies of both Fragments and Paper Biscuit and I'm just so amazed that they are going to carry it!). I know I'm forgetting a bunch of others but that's just the age showing.

But not to forget, thanks to all who ordered Fragments and the Paper Biscuits. This venture would not be anywhere without you. Also, thanks to those who didn't know about the books but just stumbled on to them. Word of mouth has been incredible and for a marketing plan that just relies on serendipity its been rather amazing.

Note:When ordering through Paypal. Please make sure that your mailing info is up to date. I've had a rather interesting time with some readers who had to find out the hard way. It meant that the books took a long way to get there, if at all. I've had to replace lost packages. The postal system isn't perfect but in order for it to actually work the addresses I grab from your profiles must be your current address,'kay? 'Nuff said.

Buying a house. Arrgh.

Moving. Arrgh.

Painting, repairs, contractors.... Arrrrrrrrgh....

Changing Lanes!. I'm working as Production Designer on small project here at ranch Pixar. It was such a welcome respite from doing story. It's only for three months but already it's done me a whole lotta good. I draw and design all day long. Pastel comps of lighting and color studies. Ahhh, good to be painting again. In all likelihood it will turn into a just a job but until then I'm enjoying myself--I ain't lookin' this gift horse inna mouth. I wish I can post some of the stuff I've been doing. Maybe I'll do some comps for me own ideas for all to see. Hmmmm.
